A teenager pleaded guilty at Manchester Crown Court on Monday to murdering an 11-year-old schoolboy whose body was found hidden in a park with multiple stab wounds.
Michael Hamer, 15, admitted killing Joe Geeling, who suffered from the incurable condition cystic fibrosis. Geeling had gone missing in March after leaving school for his home in Bury, Greater Manchester. His body was discovered the following day in a gully in a nearby park.
His funeral service attracted hundreds of people, with family and pupils from his school coming to pay their last respects.
Hamer, who was 14 at the time, had indicated at an earlier hearing he would admit killing Geeling.
Na ez van a csatornán túl. Kíváncsi vagyok, akik Olaszliszkán agyonverték a tanárt a gyerekei szeme láttára, mennyit fognak kapni. Remélem, sokat.
